St Patrick’s Festivities

In fact, why not take a tour of Beau Coast and combine it with some of the many upcoming St. Patrick’s Day festivities going on in town.
The festivities start a day early on Saturday, March 16 at The Backstreet Pub at 124 Middle Lane. They’ll be celebrating St. Patrick’s all weekend! Starting on Saturday at 4 pm, they’ll have the Beaufort Grocery Food Truck on site serving up Irish specialties. There will also be a performance by the Port City Pipes & Drums (a 10-piece pipe and drum group) from 4 pm to 6 pm. They’ll be followed by The Fustics, who are rocking from 6 pm to 10 pm. Throughout the day, there will be Irish and craft beer deals galore, plus free schwag!
Of course, the fun doesn’t stop on Saturday. On St. Patrick’s Day The Backstreet Pub will also be hosting its annual St. Patrick’s Day Extravaganza and Costume Contest with Todd Barnes & The Wild Hares. From 3 pm to 2 am, get your green on and don’t miss out on one of the best parties around. Start with Todd Barnes & the Wild Hares playing from 3 pm to 7pm. Enjoy free shepherd’s pie at 4 pm to help you soak up all of that Guinness. The big costume party is at 5 pm. Plus, there will be door prizes, more free schwag, and Guinness and Jameson deals all day long.
For a more family friendly celebration, there’s the Emerald Isle St. Patrick’s Festival on March 16, 2024, at the Emerald Plantation Shopping Center. The 31st Annual St. Patrick’s Festival serves up an unforgettable day filled with fun, laughter, and celebration. Starting at 9 am and running through 6pm, visitors can enjoy amusement rides, with thrills for all ages. There will also be two stages of live music, with the main stage in the beer garden, for those 21 and older, and a family friendly second stage for all ages. As well as the live music and beer garden, there will be arts and crafts and more! If you can’t wait to start celebrating, there will be a special amusement ride armband event from 3-8 pm on Friday. It’s a fun way to get your blood pumping for an entertaining St. Patrick’s Day weekend celebration.
