Spring is Coming at Beau Coast in Beaufort NC
Spring will soon be here and residents of the Beaufort NC new homes in the Beau Coast community will have no shortage of things to do. In both the community and town, there’s always something to do to keep you active and entertained. From festivals to fishing and so much more, here are some of the things you can look forward to enjoying this Spring.
Beau Coast has many amenities built onsite to keep residents entertained year-round. You don’t have to go much further past your front door to find all sorts of activities for all energy levels. With it’s close proximity to the water, Beau Coast gives you the opportunity to go out and enjoy it! There is an onsite kayak storage barn and two kayak launching sites on our private Trader’s Lake, so you can paddle the day away amid the beautiful water. This lake is stocked for fishing and we now have waterfront homes available on the lake!
We also have a resort-style swimming pool and clubhouse if you prefer more leisurely water activities and a chance to hang out with friends in the process. Beau Coast offers a private dock into Taylor’s Creek which includes boat access and kayak launches. Something to note, new amenities are being added this summer 2021, to include a new community garden, pickle ball courts, and a dog park! So our four-legged residents can enjoy plenty of fun in the sun, too.
Other Beau Coast amenities include an onsite fitness center for your regular workouts, but we also know that people want to sit back and relax and enjoy the coastal lifestyle, so we’re also a golf cart community for easy commuting to various onsite activities as well into the Town. The onsite Trader’s deli offers up specialty foods, craft beers and wines, outdoor seating, with a fireplace inside and a fire pit outside. We’ve also designed the community to include a great lawn space perfect for outdoor events and games.
Of course, there’s plenty going on in the Town of Beaufort itself, and we like to participate when we can to festivals and events. Beau Coast is a sponsor of the Beaufort Game Faire, an annual event held in early March. Game Faire is an event to help celebrate Beaufort’s heritage of hunting while creating educational programs to preserve and conserve natural resources for generations to come. Among the activities that make up Game Faire are banquets and auctions, bourbon-pairing dinners, a dog expo, and of course, some shooting, including the Carolina Conservation Cup competition.
While you may have to wait for the next Game Faire, there’s still plenty to keep you entertained this year at the Beaufort Historic Site, with opportunities to train to be volunteers at the Site taking place March 24 and April 29. On March 27, there’s a free glass-blowing demo, a pine needle basket workshop is held on April 8, a bee-keeping demo April 10, and even a thoughtful American Flag Retirement Ceremony is being held this June 14. This is just a handful of upcoming events at the Beaufort Historic Site, many of which are free, and there’s always more being added, so check their website for upcoming events. An added bonus to Beau Coast living is that there’s plenty to do throughout the Town of Beaufort.
Whether you’re looking to stay within the Beau Coast community to have fun or want to explore the many offerings in town, you’re never short for choice, spring, summer, fall, or winter.
