Trader’s is appropriately located on Trader’s Lake, offering patrons of the restaurant waterfront views if they want to enjoy a picnic outside on the back patio. The patio includes plenty of seating, as well as a fire pit, making it a great place to catch up with friends or make new ones. The lake is also home to kayak launches – and we have our own large kayak storage barn on site – plus the lake is stocked for fishing, adding even more entertainment and fun.

For more water adventures, we also have a private dock entry into Taylor’s Creek. You can choose to take a kayak over to Carrot Island where you’ll enjoy the beauty of the fampously known local wild horses.

There’s plenty to do in Beau Coast and we’re situated so that you can always head to Freedom Park for a great day out, as well. The Carteret County park, which is adjacent to Beau Coast, has a frisbee golf course, a playground, another dog park, ball fields and courts, and open play fields.
